I see a lot of "shoulda, coulda, woulda" talk this time of year from people with unmet goals, and I know from experience that will totally steal the joy out of living. The end of the year is a season where so many of us miss the mark on just being confident where we're at, knowing we can still do what it takes to get where we want to go, even if its going to take a little longer because life happened.
Instead of living with a mindset that oppresses you into a funk because all your goals haven't been completely met, square those shoulders and cheer up- there are other things (people, moments, experiences) that need your attention as we wrap up 2015. That's not to discredit doing the fundamental things that are necessary for staying healthy, being active and productive, rather just giving yourself some grace and being excited for what's happening in the now, and for all the great things to come.
Being bogged down with a "shoulda, coulda, woulda" mindset will steal your joy, and make you less pleasant to be around or work with. Perk up and make today great - do something that's good for you and pay attention to what and who matters most. The hustle and bustle of the new year is right around the corner, so enjoy the here and now.
With love,
Kelsey
